ALL WORLD, Used collection. Indeed impressive ALL USED collection 1840–1918 in four large Scott albums from all over the world. The collection is a result of decades of serious collecting and the collector has put great emphasis on quality (for instance has the collector mentioned that any bad quality has been discarded and he would rather not have the stamp than an inferior copy), this obviously meaning that the quality is far better than normal for worldwide collections. It is simply clean and appealing in every respect including the albums! Sometimes one is surprised to find cheaper stamp are missing when expensive ones are present. The collection is overall well-filled and many really good stamps are represented. It is actually a great collection to keep on collecting because of the nice albums and a reasonable amount of empty spaces to fill, so a serious world-wide collector should have a lot of fun continuing with this wonderful "philatelic piece of art". 60 certificates/opinions are included. There are many mentionable areas in the collection incl. the Nordic countries, USA, Britain with a "magnet" £5 orange, German States, France and colonies, Canada with areas, China, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and what not! We have provided hundreds of pictures for you on the website but we recommend the mouth-watering experience of viewing it in person. Very comprehensive old "grandfathers collection" with about 6000 different stamps (incl some shades/varieties) from all over the world e.g. England (incl 6 Penny Black), Colonies, France with Colonies, USA, Scandinavia, but also Asia, Africa and Oceania well represented. All stamps are with hinghes and removable. The beautiful Imperial Postage Stamp Albums (8th edition 1898) in black and gold colours - part I British Empire and part II foreign countries have spaces for shades and varieties are in very good condition and are very suitable for continued collecting of The World. A collection of this type is seldomly offered. It has many better and medium priced stamps and hence a very high catalogue value in total.
