image 1894/97: The Postal Stationery card selection of eight cards (three up-rated) to extraordinary destinations (H&G 12,13, 14, 15), with 1894 2 c. brown card with 1894 1 c. blue adhesive to Constantinople with arrival, 2 c. brown card with 1895 1 c. blue to Finland with Abo arrival, 3 c. blue card to Cape Town via London, 3 c. blue card to New Zealand via USA with Christchurch arrival, 1896 2c. red on rose card uprated with 1 c. to Trinidad with arrival, 3 c. green card to Warsaw with arrival cds and Stamp Dealer's advert on reverse, 1897 3 c. green card to Transvaal with Pretoria and Standerton arrivals, and 3 c. green card to Medellin, Colombia with "Transit / Guayaquil" boxed handstamp. image 1865/72: ½ r. blue on blued paper, a fine large margined example used on 1870 mourning cover to Paris tied by "QUITO / FRANCA" cds in black (July 2) paying the internal postage with GUAYAQUIL British P.O. cds (July 9) on reverse. Circular "PANAMA / TRANSIT" cds in black (July 29) and thence via London (Aug 28) where struck with framed "GB / 1F 90 c." accountancy marking in black. Charged with handstruck '12' décimes due marking upon arrival. One of the finest first issue covers from this correspondence (believed just 12 with various single frankings), originally found at the Granada Exhibition in 1992. Cert.
