image 1862 Expeditionary Forces in Mexico: Folded cover from the occupied Vera Cruz to Bordeaux, France via London, Calais and Paris, franked by Cuba 1857 1r. green and cancelled by "CORREOS VERY CRUZ" negative seal handstamp in black, with Very Cruz '1 Feb 62' despatch cds, respective transit datestamps, GB-France exchange h/s and arrival cds on front and on the reverse. A fresh and fine stamp on a fine cover cancelled by the RARE VERA CRUZ NEGATIVE SEAL HANDSTAMP used during the Spanish Occupation of Vera Cruz under Field Marshall Juan Prim from Dec. 1861 to April 1862.
