República dos Estados Unidos do Brasil pair of 20 and 50 Cruzeiros ABNC archival engravings for the reverse of the notes as pictured for example on P.136 for the 20 and 137 for the 50 Cruzeiros. Both intaglio printed in balck and white with registration number 84989 for the 20 and 84899 for the 50. Dimensions of the frame: 22,5 x 15 cm and both in UNC condition. Great lot and seldom offered! 1929/1930, two covers: 1929 commercial cover from Hamburg/Germany 14.11. at correct rate 25pfg. via Lissabon/ship "Lutetia", and Condor airmail transport from "RIO DE JANEIRO 28.11.29" franked with 2000rs. blue, to Porto Alegre with arrival mark 29.11.29 on reverse // 1930 Zeppelin cover bearing 4mark via connection flight from "BERLIN 19.5.30", red Zeppelin cachets alongside, and Condor airmail transport from "RIO DE JANEIRO 25.5.30" franked with 2000rs. blue and 3000rs. violet, to Buenos Aires with arrival mark 26.5.30 on reverse (only 291 covers and 282 cards have been transported on that flight, Sieger 700,- €). Covers and postage partly some faults. In both cases the Brazil airmail postage had been attached already in Germany. The adhesive on the ship letter had been marked as "invalid" (in Germany) and remained correctly unobliterated. The franking on the Zeppelin cover was postmarked (incorrectly) already in Berlin.
