We note 1½a used block of 12, 6a with small second 'A' in ANNAS (two, used), 2r mint with clear offset on reverse and another with 'T' guide , a plethora of 5r varieties with Bentley Kettle re-entry, other re-entries and 'T' guides in hair and garter belt with multiples including block of 15 with 'Exchange Office' cancel, 10r mint and used with R1/7 'blueberry' flaw, and a used block of four. A really good lot, commencing with a single India-period 1943 piece with 2a, 3a6p pair and 12a strip of three, with fine oval wax BRITISH RESIDENCY/PERSIAN GULF seal. We note smaller offices, SG 116 block of eight with Manama (1) CDSs, two parcel post pieces, one 1958 with 90np, 2r and 5r with red INSURED/VALEUR DECLAREE label and BRITISH COMMONWEALTH AND FOREIGN PARCEL POST LABEL/BAHRAIN 2890, not pretty but rare, a wonderful lot for the specialist (Image)
