image 1934 Registered airmail cover from Kandahar to Germany via Chaman and Brindisi, franked on the reverse by Afghan 1932 30p. and two singles of 60p. tied by Kandahar '23 Jan 34' cds, additionally franked at the Afghan-Indian border in Chaman by India 1929 airmail stamp 4a. and KGV. 2a. and 1a. tied by "CHAMAN INDIAN EXCHANGE OFFICE/25 JAN 34" cds, with Reg. handstamp in violet, transit and '7.2.34' arrival datestamps on front and on the reverse, fine. A scarce registered airmail cover with Afghan-Indian mixed franking.
