USA: John F Kennedy signed letter (January 6th 1961) to Gloucester NSW in which he states 'Thank you for the very friendly message you sent to me after my election to the Presidency'. Signed on US Senate letter-head while he was President Elect. Together with 'US Senate' envelope. Some age stains, splitting. Also a Free Post envelope from Jacqueline Kennedy with printed 'Jacqueline Kennedy' signature on cover above 'Postage + Fee Paid' hand addressed again to Gloucester, NSW, together with Mourning Card of Appreciation (following assassination) 'Mrs Kennedy is deeply appreciative of your sympathy'.
