image WEST AFRICA AIRMAILS - THE UNIQUE KHARTOUM TO KANO SURVEY FLIGHT COVER: 1936 env. from Kano to Calcutta flown on a single survey flight for the Nigeria feeder service. At Kano the cover was handed unstamped by the writer R.S.Warner, a Nigerian Government official to the pilot, Capt. O.P. Jones who carried it to Khartoum via El Obeid, El Fasher, Geneina, Abecher, Ati, Fort Lamy and Maiduguri.
