MULTI-REDIRECTED MILITARY CONCESSION MAIL; 16 Nov. 1896 env. (mild crease, slighty dusted) to H.M.S. Torpedo Boat No. 6 (at Gibraltar or elsewhere) franked 1d Lilac tied by Littlehampton duplex and redirected to several other ships inc. H.M.S. Hawke, Ramilies and Vulcan in Malta, Greece, then London and back to Malta a second time. Remarkable attempts at delivery sent around the Mediterranean, "NOT KNOWN" and Returned Letter Branch Malta c.d.s. on face, the former rare and apparently the earliest recorded by five years.
