BRITISH AFRICA: 1901-c.1935 selection of postal history and postal stationary, including: KUT 1903 1a carmine post card to Dar-es-Salaam, with Entebbe cds; Mombasa and Tanga transit marks, Orange Free State 1901 ½d+½d reply card addressed to the Postmaster at Kuruman, with the sender requesting details of the 'Besieged' opts but despite addressing the reply half, his request was ignored since it remains intact! Nyasaland and Rhodesia range of used postal stationary and covers some with 'SPECIMEN's, and German East Africa 1914 envelopes (2), with cachets 1916 British Ordnance Survey section, generally fair to fine condition, an interesting lot.: Estimate £300-£400 (Image)
