1942-44 Stampless covers and cards (6), cover franked 1½d, and 3d P.O.W postcards (2) all from G.B, one cover with "Returned To Sender By The Censor" label; 3d P.O.W cards to "No. 1 Camp Thailand" or "No. 3 Branch Thai War Prisoners Camp, Nike, Thailand"; one postcard unusually addressed "Alorstan near Thailand" (Alor Star, crossed out with "Malaya" underlined); the others all addressed to Singapore or Malaya and forwarded endorsed "OVL" with a date (4) or "Up Country Party 21st March 43, (Lt Col Carpenters Party)". An interesting group, five with Japanese censor cachets. (9).

1942-44 Stampless cover or cards from G.B to Sgt J.P Howard (2), Sgt G.W Blackburn (2), RQMS S.E Gordon or Gunner J.L Beurrier (2), six with Japanese censor cachets, one also with Thailand Prisoner of War Camp cachet. One cover to "P.O.W Camp 2, Thailand", another to "No. 4 P.O.W Camp Thailand" and directed to Tamuan, the others all redirected with "OVL" and a date (5, one also with "K3" for Konyu 3 Camp, another directed to Mashimoto). Also a 1945 (Sep 13) 1½d Forces air letter to "RQMS S.E Gordon, Recovered P.O.W Centre, Bombay, India" with violet boxed "REPATRIATED R.A.P.W.I / S.S (ORDUNA) / No.4 B.P.O / MIDDLE EAST", received on the "Orduna" at Port Said. South Africa. 1942-43 Stampless covers (3) and covers franked 3d + 6d (2, one with 6d stamp removed), to Capt. G.G Waller (2), Lt. W.H Privett or Capt. The Hon. R.P de Grey in Singapore, or to the Dutch Sgt. B.C Vanes at Camp D in Java, the first Waller cover directed to the Medical Area in Changi, the others all forwarded to Thailand. The Vanes cover with two differing "Transferred to Thailand" cachets and endorsed "Head Quarters Group (Non Pladuk)"; the others endorsed "OVL L 6/11/42", "OVL / F 18/4/43" or simply "F". An unusual origin, all fine, two with Japanese censors. (5).

Brigade, A.I.F (2), and Australian Red Cross envelope and front printed in red, the envelope to M.A Justins, 19th Battery, 2/10th Field Regt. directed to Kaorin and Chungkai, the front to Pte B.E Russell, 27th Brigade endorsed as received at Nakom Pathon. All four endorsed "A Force" (which was sent from Singapore to Burma in 1942), the Crofts cover directed to Konyu 1 Camp, three with Japanese censors, the front with the unusual and scarce "H. KANNO" censor in roman script. (4).

Also a 1943 3½c Netherlands Indies postcard from Mrs Bouwknegt in Malang to her husband in a P.O.W Camp in Java D, violet "Transferred to Thailand" cachet, endorsed "Head Quarter Group Thai No 11390" and "Hut 6", both with Japanese censors.
