ITALIAN COLONIES - LIBYA: 1912 stampless 'Saluti da Bengasi' multiview to Turin with 'POSTA MILITARE/6.12.12/(BENGASI)' cds, and real photo of a mostly civilian crowd captioned 'Ruta 28.7.12/ Onoranze al soldato-oneto lazzaro reduce delle battaglie in Libia" used at Genoa to Wales. [The Italo-Turkish War, 29.9.1911 to 18.10.1912, resulted in the Ottomans ceding control of most of Libya to Italy. This was the first war in which aeroplanes were deployed & the first in which a plane was shot down]
