1881 'I. R.' Provisionals Crown CA Wmk Perf 14 1d yellow-ochre with '[Two Bars]/I R' overprint in Green, apparently cancelled with 'KGS' duplex of Albany. [From 5.9.1893, Internal Revenue overprints were valid for postage]
1881-82 'I. R.' Provisionals on 3d Lilac '.../ONE PENNY' (unused), '.../TWO PENCE' (light creasing), '.../THREE PENCE' (very lightly mounted), '.../SIX PENCE' (very lightly mounted) and '.../ONE SHILLING' (regummed) all except the first with good colour. The 6d & 1/- are very scarce. Trevor Hiscock's 1d (corner fault), 2d (trimmed perfs & no gum), 3d (part-o.g.) & 1/- (part-o.g.) sold in 2016 for $2235. Francis Kiddle had no example of the 1/-. (5)

1893 CA/Crown Watermark group of postally used examples comprising 1d x13 including a vertical pair with both 1896 'YALGOO' cds (dot arcs; ERD) & large-part unframed duplex (also ERD), 2d x2, 3d x5, 6d x5 & 1/- x2, also 1897 Crown/WA Watermark 1d x4, 3d x3, 6d x2 one with 'SAVINGS BANK/10JA/00/PEAK HILL W.A' cds and 1/- x2 one with Fremantle Railway Station cds portion of duplex, Cat £700+, also 3/- with Perth Registered oval d/s (unlisted by Gibbons), condition generally fine to very fine although some may have had fiscal cancels removed. [From 5.9.1893, values to 1/- became valid for postal purposes. Higher values were not authorised but were definitely used postally]

TELEGRAPH STAMPS: 1879 Perf 12½ 1d bistre x2 one with Perth cds portion of duplex (both with a couple of uneven perfs) and Perf 14 1d bistre x2 one with very fine Numeral '16' 12-bar of York, plus the scarce 6d lilac with GPO duplex cancel, Cat £325.
