1901-12 collection in Hagner album 'ALBANY' to 'YUNDAMINDERA' with many scarce markings including 'BELLEVUE', 'BLACK FLAG' & '[TELEGRAPH] OFFICE/[BLACK] FLAG WA', 'REGISTERED/BOULDER', 'BURBANKS', 'COSSACL', 'EUCLA' Type 3b in violet, 'TELEGRAPHS/FREMANTLE', 'TIMBER MILLS GREEN[BUSHES]', 'GWALIA' with time, 'HAY ST WEST' with year at the top, 26mm & 22mm 'KURAWA', '[P]AID/[KALGO]ORLIE', 'LAKE DARLOT', 24mm 'LAWLERS', 'LENNONVILLE', 29mm 'MARRADONG', 'MUCHEA', 'MULLINE', 'MURGOO' in violet, '[NA]BAWAH', 'NORTH KALGOORLIE', 'PADDINGTON' with large letters, 'PALACE HOTEL', 'STRAWBERRY' unframed & framed, 1901 'THE GRANITES', 1903 'TRAFALGAR', 'WANNAMAL' with the date sideways, 'WEST NORTHAM', 'WONNERUP' in violet, 'WORSLEY' etc etc; then a good range from Perth including various Parcel Post types notably woodcuts x3 & 'TELEGRAPHS/...' with thin 'H's; a few better stamps to 5/- noted including Postal Fiscals, a smattering of coloured strikes, some mostly minor duplication, the vast majority are on single stamps but a good number are on multiples or piece. A solid basis for serious expansion

BARRED NUMERALS: Selection with very fine half-strike of the '80 - 80' cancel on Wmk CC 1/-, many other scarce types including 15-bar '22', 9-bar '10', 12-bar '20' (the discovery copy?) of Narra Tarra, '25' & '33' etc, also some Void Grids & Letters-in-Bars, all on single stamps but with numerous fine to very fine strikes. A good basis for expansion.

Berkshire (1): 'BERKSHIRE/8MR/85/[W.A]' superb large-part strike on 2d chrome-yellow. The first recorded marking from this office. [PMI lists the office as 'Berkshire Valley' TO 1.3.1874; PO 1.1.1884; closed 28.2.1891. This cds suggests the name was simply 'Berkshire'. PMI lists a second 'Valley' office 15.9.1894 to 30.11.1898, for which the only recorded marking is a manuscript "Berkshire 8No94". Again, no 'Valley']
Black Range: 'BLACK RANG[E/AU30/06/W.A' (day & month slugs inverted) two very fine large-part strikes on 2d yellow pair (one with corner fault). PO 1.10.1903; renamed Nungarra 12.3.1907. [Goldmining. An A2 strike on a single 2d sold at our online auction of 23.2.2022 for $252]
Jarrahdale: 'JARRAHDALE/FE11/98/W.A' cds & 12-bar '33' cancel superb strikes in magenta on '1½d.' on 3d Postal Card to Kent UK, Perth transit b/s & superb 'MAIDSTONE/MR14/98' arrival cds on the face, creased at left with L/L corner missing. Stunning! Absent from Pope & Reynolds Census: they list only three 1890s items & one of 1906, none with the markings in colour.
Narra Tarra: '[N]ARRA TARRA/10JLY14/[WESTN] AUSTRALIA' largely very fine large-part strike & a second part-strike on 1d pink pair. PO -.3.1884; closed c.1914 ? [Copper mining. PMI states that Narra Tarra was replaced by Nabawah - 4km to the west - on 22.10.1910. However, this strike is almost four years later, with no doubt about the year being '14'. Supported by the distance between the two places, we suspect that Narra Tarra was actually downgraded to a Receiving Office & continued operating as such for at least four years. The Nabawah cds is recorded from 15AU11]

SAVINGS BANKS: Selection on four Hagners with many scarce/rare ones including Bunbury, Dongarra, Kookynie, C'wealth-type Lawlers, Merredin, Mt Barker, Mt Morgans, Mt Sir Samuel, Norseman, Paddington, Pingelly, Princess Royal, Trafalgar, Wyndham & York, a few record dates noted, mostly on single stamps with a few pairs or on piece, the quality of the strikes is quite variable but many are fine to very fine, minor duplication. A very difficult group to assemble.
