1905-12 Crown/A Perf 12½x12 9d orange-yellow with the Watermark Sideways Reversed BW #W50Aaa (SG 145var), 'KATANNING/JY10/06/WA' cds, Cat $500. Found by us in John Forrest's postmark collection!: sold for $728. RPSofV Certificate (2010). [The ACSC states "Stamps with watermark reversed are CTO in Perth in 1906, from the first printing. Only a few examples have been recorded." This stamp is apparently the first commercially used example recorded]

RPSofV Certificate (2010). Acquired at our auction of 30.4.2011 for $875. [The ACSC states "This stamp is rare, with approximately 20 used examples recorded", of which at least five are in institutional collections]

This perf variant is not recorded in the ACSC, where #W25 Perf 12½ on three sides & Perf 11 at top or base - stated only four examples in private hands - is priced at $750. Sold at our auction of 11.7.2008 for $610.
