image EXTENSIVE MATCH & MEDICINE COLLECTION, includes nearly 700 mostly different singles and pairs, along with a few proofs, hinged and mounted on Aldrich M & M album pages in a three ring binder, this amazing collection is in significantly better than normal condition for this area, there are hundreds of sound and Very Fine or better stamps here and many stamps in this collection would retail or sell at auction at multiples of their catalog value, although there are still faults to be expected with many issues, there are many higher catalog value stamps here with values in the $100-250 range and up but there are very few rarities included, some of the higher value stamps include: RO1a, 2b, 11b, 11b(D.T.), 23e, 27b, 30b, 37b, 37b(D.T.), 46a, 51a, 53a, 59b, 61b, 68a,b, 70d, 71a, 80c, 83b, 84a, 85b, 86c, 91b, 94b, 100a,b, 111a, 119d, 131b, 156a, 164d, 177e, 178a, 182a, RS15a, 16a, 31a,c, 34b, 36d, 37a, 40c, 41d, 48d, 53b, 56d, 57d, 65a, 66a, 71c, 73b,d, 84a, 117a, 128d, 129b,d, 130b, 132c, 134a, 148c, 149c, 157c, 159b,d, 169b,d, 171u, 173i,j, 181d, 182b, 190e, 208e, 209c, 219d, 223b, 246a, 247a(cut to shape), 260b, 267a, RT2h,k, 9d, 10c, 11b, 15b,d, 25a, 26d, 29c, 32d, RU7d, 10a; certainly one of the most extensive M & M collections we have offered not only in scope but also in this superior quality, a rare opportunity to jump into this always popular revenue area with an advanced high quality collection, to put this type of collection together would take many years and certainly cost close to or in excess of the catalog value listed, we have included dozens of scans of the higher catalog value pages from this collection but there are still hundreds of notable items which are not included in the scans, so we strongly suggest that serious bidders view this lot personally to get the full effect of the quality and scope of this collection (Image)

image AMAZING SUPER HIGH QUALITY MATCH & MEDICINE ACCUMULATION, this group includes over 200 singles with most being different, neatly arranged on black stock cards and then on stock pages, includes both Match and Medicine along with a few Perfumes, the key to this group is the utterly amazing quality throughout, virtually every stamp is Very Fine or better, each stamp was handpicked for color, centering and quality, the overall appearance of this collection is simply stunning and this is coming from someone who has seen a lot of M & M collections over the years but we have never offered something quite like this in this area, values run from $1 to $350 with most being over $10 and there are dozens with values in the $50+ range, some of the better items include: RO16a, 20a, 57c, 74d, 77a, 95b, 96b, 119c, 120d, 121b, 124d, 181b(2), RS31b, 37a, 43a, 48b, 52d, 54b, 56d, 64b, 65e, 70b, 96c, 99b, 123b, 142d, 149c, 157c, 169b, 216d, 225b, 225d, 243b, 250d, 260d, RT2k, 29c; now, how to evaluate this lot, we figure about half the items in this lot would retail at 5-10 times their catalog value, dozens of these stamps would bring 10 times or more at auction if their value was enough to offer at a lot, it should be noted given the visual appeal of this group that there are still faults to be expected here but certainly a minimum and there are dozens which are completely sound, all of the pages from this group are scanned and available on our website, if larger sized scans are needed simply contact the office and we will provide them, without question this group of stamps is the finest and highest quality M & M group we have ever offered in our 45 years of selling revenues, certainly a very rare opportunity to obtain a large number of very high quality stamps at one time and a great opportunity to start a collection for the quality conscious individual, it is our opinion that this lot is worth significantly more than three times the catalog value listed and trying to assemble this group on a onesy-twosy basis would take years and maybe $25-30k in spending, if you have further questions regarding this offering please call the office and ask to speak to Mike personally, (ENV 15,000-20,000) (Image)
