1844-56 Collection of Carriers' stamps and Local issues on Scott leaves(26 stamps,4 covers) including 1851 Eagle 1c blue mint, 1c blue on cover(not tied), 1858-9 Steinmeyer's City Post 2c black/bluish, 1857 Boyd's City Express 2c black/green on covers(3) one is a front with imperf 3c red(Scott 11) tied New York Jun 21 c.d.s., the other two have oval Boyd City handstamps, 1844 Cummings City Post 2c black/green, 1851 Priest's Paid Despatch black/yellow, Winan's City Post 2c black, an interesting lot but does include some reprints a good lot for the specialist, also Confederate States(5) inc 5c green(Scott 1) with three large margins tied to piece by New Orleans c.d.s., mixed condition (Start Price = £321.60)
