This stamp was last offered in Christie's March 15, 1989 sale. The 30-cent 1861 re-issue is most difficult of the re-issues to obtain in well-centered condition due to the narrow vertical spacing on the plate. Of the 347 copies that were sold, this is most certainly one of the most attractive. (Image)
