image Large Box of Old Covers, late 19th Century to WW2 - Likely a couple 1000 covers with many originating in Ohio covering late 19th/early 20th century to 1940's WW2 era. Many 2c and 3c banknotes used on cover with many different town cancels (maybe some DPO's?). Also spotted a few corner advertising covers. Includes a few "lunch" bags filled with the WW2 era stamps tied to covers in the early 1940's. Appears to have been stored away for many years. Very mixed condition. (Est $300-400) (Image)

image Old Tyme First Day, First Flight, and Naval Cover Lot - Over 200 mostly addressed 1920 to early 1950's first days with a variety of cachets. Spotted 1930's National Parks, 1932 Olympics, 1933 World's Fair, Byrd, Texas, Michigan, 1940's Overrun Nations, Navy, Army, etc, and about 30 airmail first days covering the Lindbergh issue to 1950's Hawaii all in 2 White Ace cover albums. Several plate blocks, mostly Artcraft but there we came across some Ioor, Boll, August, Top Notch, etc. Also includes a dozen Naval-related covers and another dozen+ first flights all from the same time period. Condition is rather nice with some foxing and/or glue line bleed-through on just a few. Nice lot with an excellent variety. (Est $250-300) (Image)
