image 1861-2000 MINT COLLECTION: Exclusively mint ranges from 1861-66 5c brown (shade) SG 72 (£1,500), 15c grey-black (appearance of unused, but possibly cleaned) SG 73 and 30c orange (probably regummed) SG 67 (£2,500), 1869 2c brown (shade) with grill SG 115 (£650). Also 1873 30c grey-black with 'secret mark' SG 167 (£3,250) and 1879 (porous paper issue) 1c, 2c & 6c (SG 188, £900). Collection continues with later singles and part sets inc. 1893 Columbian Expo. to 8c, 1898 Mississippi Exped. 4c, 5c, 10c & 50c, the latter a straight edge example (SG 298 £800), useful early 20th. C. defins. & commem. sets inc. 1904 St. Louis & 1907 Jamestown sets unmounted mint and 1908-10 defin. set to $1 SG 338/349 (£1,400).
