Voss who was active in the transfer of Indians, to his sister, the letter refers to the continuation of "Florida (Seminole) War" & that sender would have to go there; recent enforcements, he has (250) men & that shortly (50) will leave for Fort Gibson & refers to navigation of Red River improving w/ the arrival of a steamboat from New Orleans, VF, a scarce postmark on a letter w/ interesting content (Image)
