image 1882-1983, misc group of interesting odds and ends, essentially items that are nearly but not quite valuable enough for each to be an individual lot. Includes some high quality (near gem) examples of #205 used, 645 never hinged single, 603 never hinged line pair, and never hinged blocks of 4 of #s 563, 627, 642, 683 and E14. Plus an unsorted group of mint singles from the 1910's to 1930's. And #2889 G Stamp coil plate # strip of 5. Plus a complete sheet of the 1952 Lafayette issue (#1010), signed by the Postmaster General in the selvage. Also an unusual group of 12 "Waif Stamps" (imaginative). Most are o.g., mainly hinged or hinge remnants, but about a third are without gum or regummed (nearly all are cataloged as o.g.), and a mere 4 are used. Small faults (thins mainly) affect perhaps 10%-20% of the catalog value. Centering overall averages F.-V.F., a few better, a few worse.
