1910s, "One Cent Letter Postage" protest stamp, complete sheet of 40, o.g., never hinged.
The "stamps" were issued by the National One Cent Letter Postage Association - established in 1904 - as a protest against what it's members believed to be an unfair business advantage given by the Post Office to newspaper and magazine publishers, in the form of low periodical rates.
