image c. 1890, trompe l'oeil "cover" for the Grand Pacific Hotel in Tacoma, WA, an advertising card in the trompe l'oeil style for Tacoma's Grand Pacific Hotel. Printed images of 1¢ Franklin stamps (Scott #219), New York postmarks, a newspaper clipping, and various hand-written messages are all printed with multi-color lithography. Reverse also decorated.
