Unique SPACE COLLECTION consisting of the two highest ranking astrophilatelic collections formed by Walter Hopferwieser and Adolf Maier, along with a large selection of space memorabilia ranging from flown to the moon artifacts up to early documents of space history. The collection consists of space covers, documents, stamps, autographs and artifacts from the entire space history: starting with early rocket mail, V2 development in World War II, the space race to the moon up between USA / CCCP to the latest development with China's manned spaceflight program. More than 10 flown Apollo covers from different flights carrying officially covers clearly show the quality of the collection. A total of approximately 40.000 signatures on far more than 45.000 covers in about 1000 (!) albums includign the collections Hopferwieser and Ado Maier. The combination of these collections and unique items of very prominent sources have never been offered before and probably will be never offered again in this large variety. Insgesamt rund 35000 Unterschriften von Astronauten und Kosmonauten, weit über 10000 Belege aus allen Epochen, rund 1000 (!) Alben umfasst dieses einmalige Objekt inclusive der Sammlungen Hopferwieser und Maier.
Die Kombination dieser beiden Sammlungen und den nicht in den Ausstellungssammlungen enthaltenen Belegen und Stücken ist noch nie angeboten worden und wird es wohl in dieser Form nie wieder geben. 1870, Switzerland/France. Folding letter from a mother in Evian-les-Bains dated 19.11.1870 to her son, a prisoner of war, via 'AGENCE INTERNATIONALE + BALE' from Basel 20.11.70. The lieutenant belonged to the fortress of Metz, which surrendered only on 27.10.; hence the address 'Prisonnier de guerre Armée de Metz'. The letter was forwarded several times with stops in Berlin, Braunschweig, Mainz and Wiesbaden. Liechtenstein - 2002 Space delivery mail from Liechtenstein to the ISS: Postal stationery card with additional franking and Zeppelin board seal intended for the Zeppelin NT special flight Vaduz-Friedrichshafen on August 19, 2002, which was cancelled due to bad weather (seal tied by flight cancellation handstamp). The postcard was then forwarded to the Russian Star City (Swjosdny Gorodok) and then transported from Baikonur to the ISS with the SOYUS I-ODISSEA mission on October 30, 2002 by the commander Sergei Zalyotin and the Belgian ESA austronaut Frank De Winne. The card shows various postmarks and handstamps of the ISS and the blue ODISSEA mission stamp on the front and back. Only about 10 documents were sent from Liechtenstein! A modern Liechtenstein rarity! (old starting price 400 Euro) ÷ Liechtenstein - 2002 Weltraum-Zuleitungspost ab Liechtenstein zu ISS: Ganzsachenkarte mit Zusatzfrankatur und Zeppelinbordsiegelmarke vorgesehen für die Zeppelin-NT-Sonderfahrt Vaduz-Friedrichshafen am 19.8.2002, die aber wegen schlechtem Wetter abgesagt wurde (Entwertung durch Flugausfallstempel). Danach wurde die Karte zur russischen Sternenstadt (Swjosdny Gorodok) weitergeleitet und anschließend ab Baikonur mit der SOJUS I-ODISSEA-Mission am 30.10.2002 durch den Kommandanten Sergei Zalyotin und den belgischen ESA-Austronauten Frank De Winne zur ISS befördert. Vorder- und rückseitig zeigt die Karte diverse Stempel der ISS und den blauen ODISSEA-Missionsstempel. Es wurden nur etwa 10 Belege ab Liechtenstein befördert! Eine moderne Liechtensteinrarität!
