(2), 1/- (2), 1/6d. and 2/- (2) composite essays, the heads printed and the frames and vignettes handpainted in the format of the values to 6d., all executed in a variety of bright colours with portions of a few highlighted in Chinese white and with only the 5d. and 6d. in designs close to that issued, each on card slightly larger than the issued low values.
