Ship Renomee" to London, originally treated as a ship letter double rate and charged "2/6" in red ink, later corrected to a packet rate and charged double rate "1/-" from Portsmouth to London plus 1d. , showing rare oval-framed "pd" with curved-framed "portsmouth/ship letter" below, the reverse with "jamaica" J4 datestamp and part arrival datestamp. Unrecorded by Foster and a very rare and important pre-stamp handstamp. Proud PD2.
