1847 "LADY McLEOD" (5c.) blue, used and cancelled by crossed pen-strokes in red, of fresh colour, with complete to wide margins (with small part of neighbour stamp at top), the pen-cross faded (perhaps by an attempt to remove the pen-strokes), but still a fine stamp. Actually there are 23 used and 13 unused examples recorded. THIS IS A NEW DISCOVERY (= No. 24 of the used ones) AND A FINE EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE STAMP. (SG £12,000) (Image)
