image 1899 "Muang Phrae": Postal stationery card 4a. used from Muang Phrae to Mombassa, British East Africa via Lampang, Raheng (Siam) and Rangoon (Burma) cancelled by Muang Phrae native c.d.s., Raheng (3.10.99), Rangoon (17 OC 99) and Mombasa (17 NO 99) datestamps alongside, Lampang '29.9.99' and Kilindini (Mombasa) '13 NO 99' dater on the reverse. The card with a tear from top (left part) to center, corner crease at top right, lightly stained and toned. Nevertheless, a scarce mail form Muang Phrae (native c.d.s. is priced US$650 by Gmaehle) to British East Africa.
