1872 from ca., comprehensive lot with ca.140 covers, cards and stationeries, comprising classic era starting with 1872 'Hildago' issues on domestic mail, furthermore a strong and valuable part with 1913/16 civil war items, i.a. 'Transitorio' revenue stamps used for postage on several covers, Sonora stamps on commercial mail, 'Denver' issue (Sc. ex 387/90), 'Villa' and 'Carranza' overprints on covers and stationery envelopes, registered and returned mail, censored mail, scarce postmarks and further specialities resulting from war-time measures. Also included are scarce 1920/30s airmail covers incl. domestic and international first flights and a 1936 cover with intended dispatch to Zeppelin airship Hindenburg.
