1862 Cover from Cairo to Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland by French mail via Alexandria, Marseilles and Besonçon, franked by French 1853-61 10c. and 40c. tied by French numeral "5800" in diamond of dots and red Marseilles datestamp, with "POSTA EUROPEA CAIRO/5/NOVRE/62" double-ring datestamps, boxed 'AFFR.../INSUFFICIENT" and Alexandria transit dater alongside, Besonçon transot dater and '11 Nov 62' arrival c.d.s. on the reverse.
