1901, 20 c red and 2x 5 c braun from the 1900 Map definitives, tied by faint violet duplex "SANTO DOMINGO 5 SET 01" to registered cover addressed for BAX, Switzerland, endorsed "Via JACMEL - Southhampton", red "REGISTERED 26 SP 01 LONDON" on front, JACMEL 8 SEPT" and " BEX 27. IX 01" arrival on reverse, a second BEX "8.X.01" (on reverse) and a ms "Retour" on front are the only marks from the reurn direction

1905, 10 C green/black Official, tied by "CORREO SANTO DOMINGO MAR 25 1905" to envelope with preprinted sender "El presidente de la Republica Dominicana", large light blue paper seal with the same inscription on reverse as well as illegible transit and arrival marks. The envelope is addressed for the Consul of the Dom. Republic in Barcelona. Stains.
