image 1898/1935, remarkable collection with a correspondence of ca.80 covers to Leeds in England. The collection is sorted chronologically, comprising attractive single, multiple and mixed frankings of various issues, included is registered mail, censored mail etc. Many covers are endorsed with the names of ships resp. steamers which carried the transatlantic mail to England. Overall ca.30 different ship names are presented, mostly handwritten and some by handstamps. A substantial postal history source about maritime mail transportation from Argentina to Europe! (Image)

Included are scarce issues, i.a. mint 90 C blue with red overprint (Sc.O21, 450.-$), inverted overprints Sc.O1a, O4a and O9a (400.-$), furthermore an extensive and specialized part with 'Official Department Stamps' from all ministries (Scott ex OD1/OD357), comprising many stamps in used multiples (blocks of 4 or 6 etc.).
