1855 London Printings 2d rose-carmine SG 2 horizontal strip of 3, good to very large margins with a fragment of the adjoining unit at right, light strikes of Diamond Numeral '31' of Angaston, Cat £270++. A beautiful multiple.
1855 London Printings 1/- imperforate plate proof in black on ungummed unwatermarked paper corner block of 4 - two rejoined horizontal pairs - from the L/R of the sheet, margins close to huge, characteristic misalignment of the units & minor plate-burnishing between the lower pair, a little soiled as is usual for this proof. Important positional piece.

1860-69 Second Roulettes 2d bright vermilion (marginal example, a little oxidised), 6d violet-blue (no gum), 6d greenish blue, 9d grey-lilac, 'TEN PENCE' in Blue on 9d yellow, 1/- chestnut, 1/- lake-brown & 2/- rose-carmine (no gum) between SG 25 & 43, mostly with part- to large-part o.g., Cat £3000+.

1870-71 Perf 10 '3-PENCE' on 4d bright ultramarine SG 93 marginal example from the left of the sheet Imperf at Left SG 93var, unused, Cat £375+. [Gary Diffen's mint example - with perfs trimmed at the top - stated to be "the only unused example recorded" - sold for £384]
1876-1900 Broad Star 1/- bright red-brown as SG 125 but from the base of the upper pane Imperf between Stamp & the Wing-Margin, a bit soiled, 'ANGASTON/29SE82/SA' cds. [It appears that the lower-quarter of the printed area was also imperforate, which would explain the irregular separation]
1876-1904 De La Rue Narrow Crown/SA Perf 10 1d green with Double Print SG 167bb, quite well centred for this issue, tonespot that shows through to the face, undercatalogued at £400. BPA Certificate (1993) as the then SG 169var, plus a letter from the editor of the Gibbons catalogues confirming that this stamp would be listed from the 1994 edition. [Far more attractive than the only other recorded example, which is poorly centred]
1886-96 'POSTAGE & REVENUE' Perf 11½-12½ £5 brown SG 205, minor repair at U/R, CTO with Melbourne quarter-circle as usual, large-part o.g., Cat £1100 for CTO. [No postally used examples have been recorded]

OFFICIAL STAMPS: 1891-96 Perf 10 1d blue-green with the Overprint Double SG O54a, GPO duplex, undercatalogued at £110. Ex Gary Diffen, who states that only two used examples have been recorded.
OFFICIAL STAMPS: Thick 'POSTAGE' £1 dark blue punctured 'OS' ACSC S69b, characteristic rough perfs at the top, double-ring Adelaide cds, undercatalogued at $300. A very scarce stamp, especially postally used.
