TAX MARKINGS: Taxed mail most with Postage Dues affixed, wide variety of Adelaide domestic markings from 1903 Great Britain PPC with large '2' h/s & 'Blank-At-Base' 2d and 1905 from Cape of Good Hope with large '3' h/s & Completed Design 1d & 2d, then oval cachets including 1923 Grand Hotel, Millicent cover (faults) with KGV 1½d green 'POSTED IN LATE EFEE BAG' & 'T1D' h/s, 1923 GB PPC with 'T1½D' and Dues ½d & 1d tied 'CLEVE' cds, 1926 from India with 'POST TOWN NOT KNOWN/IN STH AUSTRALIA' cachet & 'T2D' h/s and 2d Due tied 'BENDIGO/VIC' cds, 1937 airmail from Canada with 'T3½D' h/s and Dues ½d & 3d tied 'MURRAY BRIDGE' cds, 1948 airmail from GB to Stawell (Vic) with KGVI 1/- solo and 'T6D' h/s, 1955 MGM Films large cover with boxed 'EXCEEDS ["2"] OZS/TAXED ....' but no tax marking or Dues, etc, also undenominated types & manuscript endorsements used outside Adelaide such as 1956 airmail with QEII 6½d solo over ½oz and 'T' endorsed "6d" with 6d Due tied 'STRATHFIELD/NSW' cds, and plenty more, condition variable with some fronts only but many are fine to very fine.
