1891-1902 CROWN/SA PERF 11½-12½: 1/- pale red-brown from the worn plate with No Stop after 'S ' SG O32a, misplaced vertical perforations so cut from the sheet at left & right to preserve the design, a few toned perfs, large-part o.g., Cat £100 used; unpriced unused. Absent from Gary Diffen's collection.
1891-1902 CROWN/SA PERF 11½-12½: 1/- red-brown from the worn plate with Double 'O.S.' SG O33a, lightly cancelled, Cat £1200. There are actually portions of three overprints. Gary Diffen recorded only four examples: his stamp was sold for £240, one of the bargains of the sale.

Unlisted by Gibbons, absent from Gary Diffen's collection, and believed to be the only recorded example.
1891-1902 CROWN/SA PERF 11½-12½: 2/- crimson SG O34 block of 4 with Triple Vertical Perforations Between, GPO duplex cancels, Cat £60++, for normal singles. A remarkable postally used error.

1895 CROWN/SA PERF 10x11½-12½: 2/- crimson SG O35 block of 15 (5x3) well centred, tied to thin card from a packet by light 'SHERINGA/MY--/97/SA' squared-circle cancels, Cat £150++, for singles. Used multiples of this size, of any denomination, are rarely seen.
1895 CROWN/SA PERF 10x11½-12½: 2/- crimson with Double Overprint SG O35b, well centred, virtually full o.g., Cat £950. Superb. Better centred than Gary Diffen's similar stamp - stated to be "the only unused example recorded" - that sold for £480.

1895 NEW DENOMINATIONS PERF 10x11½-12½: 'Bantam' ½d brown SG O63 block of 12 (6x2) Perf 10 horizontally with the vertical perfs alternating between 11½-12½ and 10, large-part o.g. with the lower units being unmounted, Cat £660++, for mounted singles.
1893-95 PERF 15: 4d lilac with 'O.S.' Double One Diagonal SG O66a horizontal pair, well centred, large-part o.g., Cat £1100+, for singles. A striking error. Superior to Gary Diffen's similar pair - the right-hand unit with rounded corner at upper-right - that sold for £480. Gary Diffen recorded only a block of 8, discovered in the late-1980s, later reduced to two singles and three pairs.
1893-95 PERF 15: 4d lilac with 'O.S.' Double One Diagonal SG O66a, GPO duplex cancel, Cat £500. Gary Diffen's similar stamp - stated by him to be the only recorded used example - sold for £300.
1896-99 NEW DENOMINATIONS PERF 13: 'Bantam' ½d pale brown with Overprint Triple Twice Sideways SG O68a horizontal pair, large-part o.g., Cat £1000+, for mounted singles. An extraordinary and attractive error. Gary Diffen recorded only two pairs & a strip of 4: his pair - described as "deep brown" as listed in Gibbons - sold for £480. The 'Chartwell' pair sold for £720.
1896-99 NEW DENOMINATIONS PERF 13: 4d lilac with 'O.S.' Double SG O69a, minor perf reinforcing, large-part o.g., Cat £2000+, for singles. Gary Diffen recorded only three mint examples: his single stamp sold for £288.

Ex Friedrich Krichauff. Not previously seen by us, absent from Gary Diffen's collection, and possibly the only recorded example. Note that this error occurred only in the first Perf 10 printing of the '2½d' on 4d stamps. Therefore, SG 229ba and 233a cannot exist, and should be deleted from the catalogue.

1891-95 SURCHARGES PERF 10: '5D.' in Red on 6d red-brown corner block of 9 from the upper-right of the right-hand pane with two examples of the No Stop after 'S ' SG O72ba on Row 2/6 and R3/4 (rounded corner at lower-left), a few faults in the margins, large-part o.g. which is a little aged, Cat £885++, for mounted singles. Ex Gary Diffen: sold for £348. Diffen stated that this is the only recorded piece that proves the existence of the No Stop in two positions.
1891-95 SURCHARGES PERF 10: '5D.' in Red on 6d red-brown SG O72 (Cat £20 x50+! on cover) + Perf 10 2d SG O55 x2 on printed OPSO cover with boxed 'REGISTERED/No...' at upper-left & 'Education Department/SA' imprint at lower-left, 'REGISTERED ADELAIDE/JU1/93/ S.A' squared-circles & 'HINDMARSH/SA' arrival backstamp (affected by repaired opening tear), vertical fold well clear of the stamps.
