image ORIGINAL ARTWORK: Original handpainted stamp-size essay for the Kangaroo design in India ink with Chinese white highlights & simulated perforations, the Queen's portrait being a printed insert, on thin card (68x85mm), endorsed "JULY 12th 92" at upper-right and handstamped '19OCT92' at upper-left, a little soiled. Unique. The 'Besancon' (I) earlier version - with the Queen's head also hand-painted - sold for SFr1800.
