image Austria, Graf Zeppelin Austrian Connection, 1930-1931, five envelopes with Austrian franking carried on LZ-127; great pair (Sieger 117A and 117B) from the Austrian Flight of 1931, one posted in Vienna and the other at the Vienna Airfield July 12 with appropriate special cancels; Sieger 98 initially mailed in Vienna and transported to Friedrichshafen where it flew to Holland; well travelled card that left Vienna addressed to Bale Switzerland, in the interim it was carried on the Graf Zeppelin from Friedrichshafen to Seville in May 1930; Sieger 113 posted in Vienna, and flown by Zeppelin to Iceland where it was dropped over Reyjavik, Fine to Very Fine.
