United States, Postally Used Patriotics, 1861-1865, 29 Civil War (3 unused) envelopes tell a tragic but important story; most are multicolor and have cancelled stamps, with beautiful exceptions of a PAID 3 in circle and another that says Soldiers Letter; a few have enclosed letters; while virtually all have corners intact a certain amount of toning is to be expected; it looks like all the cachets are different; even 150 years later the images and words are powerful examples of patriotism, enjoy images on the website, Fine.
