1943 (Apr 20) Cover from a Royal Navy Lieutenant to England franked 1/9, posted at Ireland Island, type CL6 censor seal, both sides with red "OPENED BY CENSOR / NO 12", a little staining at upper edge but very rare. Just one other example of this censor cachet recorded, not listed in the Bermuda Specialised Catalogue. Also a 1942 cover to the USA with red two line "PASSED BY / CENSOR", probably applied in the U.S.A. (2).
