1840 (Oct 29) Entire letter written by Alexander Milne, Captain of H.M.S "Crocodile", to his father in Scotland charged 1/-, increased to 1/1 upon redirection, backstamped by a fine "BERMUDA" large fleuron (Oct. 30). Milne has just arrived at Bermuda after a rough nine day passage from St. Johns, and has been made Commander of H.M.S "Cleopatra".
