1931-40 Covers from warships visiting Bermuda, some special printed covers, various ship cachets or datestamps, including U.S ships (28) with cancels of "U.S.S / MARYLAND / LAYING OFF / BERMUDA" (1923), "U.S.S COLORADO / ST. GEORGES / BERMUDA" (1924), "U.S.S EVANS / HAMILTON / BERMUDA" and "U.S.S PHILIP / HAMILTON / BERMUDA" (both 1931), "U.S.S / FAIRFAX" (1931, on a Bermuda 1d); British ships (21); Canadian ships (2); and the German training ship "Schleswig Holstein" (1937, with Deutsche Schiffspost c.d.s ). Also 1941 covers with cancels of U.S forces (9) and more recent naval covers (13), an interesting collection in an album. (74).
