1949 3d Royal Visit, HMS VANGUARD - prepared for use but unissued due to King's deteriorating health that resulted in the cancellation of the 1949 RoyaL Tour, MUH. Some creasing from being crumpled - as all 7 known examples have such/similar damage from being "rescued" from destruction. Nonetheless, this is a very rare stamp & is the original discovery made by Grattan.
