Advertising covers group mostly to Singleton or used locally between 1900-1910 with a number illustrated including Scottish Fire Flag 'stamp collar' envelope, Ivory Candles, John Sands advertising postcard showing Druitt Street factory, etc, also HA Pocklington (Bookseller), Newcastle parcel label with Arms 1d paying book rate, Edwards Dunlop envelope with 2d pair 'ED' commercial perfins plus plain cover with ½d 'ED' for printed matter rate, also Winchcombe Carson with 'WC' and Middows Borthers with 'MB/S' prefins, quite a number with contents including letterheads, various Hotels, Singleton Show envelopes, a few Arms 1d Postal Cards with printed adverts or cachets from Singleton '8-Hour Demonstration', 'Mechanics Institute', 'Agricultural Association', etc, condition variable but mostly fine.

1904 official mail to Singleton in 1904 with Stock Inspector's Office with ½d tied Albury duplex and Government Railways envelope from Newcastle with 2d 'GR' puncture, the others with 'OS/NSW' punctures including OHMS penalty envelope with Arms 1d x2 (faults) and 'PETTY SESSIONS OFFICE/WINDSOR' cachet, Department of Public Works envelope with Arms 1d tied BN 65 of Wollombi, then Sydney Mines and Agriculture, Attorney General & Deptartment of Lands long envelopes, condition variable but mostly fine.

1850 (Oct 16) outer with superb Sydney Views Plate III 2d ultramarine SG 29 [2] with margins good to large & outer framelines at top & left tied by neat bars cancel of Sydney (b/s), light Maitland arrival b/s, faint vertical fold & small filled spikehole, Pfenninger guarantee h/s at L/R. A very fine Sydney View cover: not included in Ben Palmer's Census. [Almost as fine as the 1851 entire with Plate V 2d that sold at our auction of 1.12.2019 for $2320]
1851 (Jan 25) OHMS part-entire with rare franking of Sydney Views Plate IV 2d ultramarine with Unshaded Hill SG 31a [12] (margins just clear to large with outer framelines at top & left), untidy bars cancel of Sydney largely clear of the variety, oval 'RAYMOND TERRACE/[crown]/JA*28/1851/NEW.S.WALES' arrival b/s. Ben Palmer's Census #53. A very attractive Sydney Views cover, greatly enhanced by the variety. [This is the second-earliest Plate IV cover recorded by Palmer, 'beaten' only by his #51 of 22.1.1851]
1851 (Mar 1) large-part outer with rare franking of Sydney Views Plate II (Clouds) 1d carmine on Horizontally Laid Paper SG 13 vertical pair [6/11] folded between the units with margins just touching - at U/R - to huge with portions of two adjoining units at U/R & L/R tied by untidy bars cancels of Sydney, 'YASS/[crown]/MR*4/185[1]/NEW.S.WALES' arrival b/s. Ben Palmer's Census #83.
1858 (Jan 12) cover endorsed "from/AR Huntley" & "p Mail Columbian" to Berkshire with very fine Imperf Diadems 6d grey SG 94 (good even margins) & Imperf 'REGISTERED' (margins just shaved to good, creased from having been folded around the cover at left) both tied by bars cancels, light oval 'REGISTERED/SYDNEY NSW' d/s in red, very fine ' WS /LONDON/ MR-15/58' transit b/s in blue & '[crown]/REGISTERED' h/s in red, very fine '6' accountancy h/s that ties the 6d, very fine unframed 'FARRINGDON' arrival b/s. An unusually fine & attractive registered cover.
1902-11 illustrated advertising covers in various designs & colours all for H Prestcott & Co to the USA all but one at 1d Printed Matter rate & one with 'ONE HUNDRED POSTED' h/s.

1904 S Hoffnung & Co advertising envelope for 'WINCHESTER REPEATING RIFLES, SHOTGUNS AND SINGLE SHOT RIFLES' showing the repeating rifle for which the manufacturer is famous and a Buffalo Bill-type hunter, with Arms 1d 'SH/&Co' commercial perfin tied by Sydney duplex cancel, 'SINGLETON/SP28/1904/N.S.W' arrival b/s, minor blemishes. Very attractive; especially so with local Australian sales agent prominently mentioned [Similar covers but without agents' names are found used throughout the USA and around the world]
