1914-15 5mm Spacing '1d.' on 5pf SG 17 complete Setting 2 including Flat Top on '1' SG 17c x2 [Pos 2 & 9] both in pairs, [Pos 3] is actually on '2d.' on 20pf SG SG 19, [Pos 5 & 8] are both used, Cat £450+.

1914-15 5mm Spacing '1d.' on 5pf SG 17 marginal pair from the base of the sheet [Stg 2 Pos 4-5], the first unit with Short '1' SG 17b, the second unit with unlisted Dropped '1', excellent centring, the margin stained & partly detached/rejoined, Cat £165++. 1914-15 5mm Spacing '4d.' on 40pf SG 24 with Faint 'd.', CTO with superb straight-line 'Herbertshoh[e]' cancel in violet, virtually full o.g., Cat £275. [NB: the apparent fault at U/R is an optical illusion caused by the trailing 'e' of the handstamp]
1915 'G.R.I./ 3d. ' Surcharges on German-Pattern Registration Labels Town Name in Sans-Serif Type 'Stephansort/(Deutsch Neu-Guinea)' SG 40, almost vertical crease & a few short perfs, 'STEPHANSORT' "frozen" cds, Cat £4500. Ferdinand Wallner (Vienna) Certificate (1964) without photograph but the stamp very lightly signed on the reverse in pencil. [A key GRI stamp of which only 24 examples, including 14 singles, have been recorded. Those numbers represent both unused & used stamps]
1915 'G.R.I./ 3d. ' Surcharges on German-Pattern Registration Labels Town Name in Seriffed Type 'Kawieng/(Deutsch Neuguinea)' SG 42 horizontal pair from the top of the sheet with Printer's Guide-Marks at the top of both units, the R/H unit with some slightly trimmed perfs at the top, large-part o.g., Cat £500+.

1914 5mm Spacing on Marshall Islands Setting 2 '2d.' on 10pf SG 52 vertical pair of [Pos 7] and blocks of 4 [Pos 1-2], [6-7], [7-8] & [9-10] plus 2d on 20pf SG 53 blocks of 4 [Pos 4-5; both R/H units with No Stop after '2d ' SG 53e], [6-7] & [9-10], well centred, a couple of minor imperfections but generally very fine with many units unmounted, Cat £800 approximately, for mounted singles.
