image 1852/1874, Texas and New Orleans Newspapers, 3 from Texas consisting of Galveston Tri-Weekly News July 1 1864 (front page only) all kinds of news including interesting news from the war including troop movements, story on the "brutal murder of 8 Texas Rangers", 2 trains plunging down the ravine, classifieds including auctions, reward for stolen horse, contents of seized ships and brokers for merchandise received by ship, The Tri-Weekly Telegraph October 22, 1862 (front page only; very faulty), Galveston Daily News September 2, 1874 (first four pages), and 8 from New Orleans consisting of seven issues of New Orleans Daily Delta/The Daily Delta/The Sunday Delta 1852/1858 and the Feb. 20, 1860 issue of New Orleans Daily Crescent, contents include comings and goings of ships and steamboats, various items for sale including slaves, goods and services, plus news of course, few edge faults associated with 150-year-old newspapers, Fine to Very Fine, ex-Lippman.
