image TRAMWAYS: 1910 (circa) pair of real photo cards being different views of a crash between an 'M&MTB' [Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board] electrified tram and a cart loaded with sacks, one showing the front of the tram with smashed windscreen & the cart being unloaded in the midst of a group of onlookers with the conductor's back facing the camera, the other showing the side of tram partly torn away with man standing on the running board and skid-marks indicating the cart had been pushed quite some way down the road, both with some bends & aging marks. [The signage on the cart reads '..RRIE' (= Glenferrie Road) so we expect the incident was in Kew Hawthorn or Malvern](Qty 2)
