image JAPAN: Gorgeous group of principally commemorative issues including Russo-Japanese War & other military subjects x10, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) Ships x4, 1908 Visit of the Great White Fleet x2, Railways x2, etc, all but three with artistic/stylised frames & some with high-quality feature embossing, most with related datestamps including four with 'datestamps' impressed in silver, a couple with corner marks from an old album otherwise very fine to superb. Aesthetically, cards of this genre are among the most attractive &/or best produced from any country in any period.
