The card goes on to explain that this is 'The Celebrated Poster ... objected to by the Hon. Thomas Bent, Premier of Victoria'.

TRAMWAYS: 1910 (circa) pair of real photo cards being different views of a crash between an 'M&MTB' [Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board] electrified tram and a cart loaded with sacks, one showing the front of the tram with smashed windscreen & the cart being unloaded in the midst of a group of onlookers with the conductor's back facing the camera, the other showing the side of tram partly torn away with man standing on the running board and skid-marks indicating the cart had been pushed quite some way down the road, both with some bends & aging marks. [The signage on the cart reads '..RRIE' (= Glenferrie Road) so we expect the incident was in Kew Hawthorn or Malvern](Qty 2)

Ballarat: 1905 Electric Supply Coy of Victoria Ltd/Ballarat Tramways souvenir 3d tram-ticket card for opening of the electric tram system in Ballarat, used on the tram as signified by the punch-hole & later posted, a few bends & corner creases still a most attractive item. Very scarce.
Colac: 1910 (circa) real photo of a 'Patent Water Balast Motor Road Roller' manufactured by Barfoot & Perkins Ld, Peterborough, England and mechanic with oil can standing alongside, the side view shows details of the petrol engine, steering wheels, accelerator pedal, gears & chain drive, 'ERNEST BUGG/COLAC' h/s on 'Kodak Austral' back, a few aging marks on back.

Wesley College was established in 1866 and was the first registered school in Australia; it was one of six founding members of the Associated Public Schools and won the APS football premiership 15 times between 1899 and 1922.
