Close to 40,000 mail items with approx. 60,000 auction results and other references for the period 1872–1940 are listed in four hardbound cloth-covered volumes in one slipcase. In addition overviews are presented for foreign mail – partly for the prephilatelic period including mail sent to e.g. Swedish possessions, German states and other territories; partly for the stamp period 1855–1872. In total 1700+ pages and 1946 pictures. Foreword (extract) by Jonas Hällström RDP FRPSL: "Collectors of Sweden, as well as dealers, have longed for a book of this nature for a long time. Staffan’s magnum opus joins the ranks of the best in philatelic reference books, not just from Sweden but from around the world. Furthermore, I cannot imagine that anyone will be able to improve upon this information in my lifetime. We will all be able to use this source in one way or another. This book will also be a “code of law” for the recording of known philatelic items". Unique opportunity to obtain this sold out reference work!

image Sweden, DAG HAMMARSKJÖLD (1905-1961). Swedish economist and diplomat who served as the second Secretary-General of the United Nations. Correspondance between Dag Hammarskjöld and Bertil Sundborg. 10 letters between 1933-1957. They were both art-interested and eager for the French language and literature. Many were the evening walks they did on the outskirts of Uppsala, autumn and winter, constantly in conversation. The strong friendship was kept alive through the years. Even during Hammarskjöls work in OECD, Paris and United Nations, New York a few hours stopover in Gothenburg where Sundborg lived, gave time for meeting. A UNIQUE IMPORTANT HISTORICAL COLLECTION!
